I have just started learning Violin and am in fact a novice when it comes to music. Actually I am so interested in Hindustani music. But I am not sure whether my practice with Carnatic tunes will take me any distance in Hindustani. Can anyone suggest me as to what I should do to learn and perform Hindustani base too?
