Review Comments	Of all the recordings of Ustad Mehdi Hassan sahib I have had the pleasure of hearing the Private Mehfil Series in the USA stand out for the excellence of their recording and performance. As this is a private mehfil Mehdi sahib performs at his own, relaxed, place and gives us enchanting glimpses of his virtuosity in classical music. The music is stunning and so is his voice--the alaaps are much longer than on records made in studios as he seems to have a knowledgable audience too and so can indulge himself in his raags! The result for the listener is a masterpiece. A must have!
