| Review Comments | A perfect recording of a perfect piece of music! This brilliant rendition of raag bhimpalasi introduced me to Hindustani classical music and it remains to this day the greatest single piece of instrumental music I have had the pleasure of hearing. It *really* touches ones soul and is a sheer delight. On the album sleeve it says that this raag can 'make the animals weep' and on hearing it I can well believe it! The tragedy is I borrowed this from a library in the UK and have not found it in any record shop there so i can buy it!!
Brilliant. Awe-inspiring. |
