Perhaps recorded few years back when she was much younger, Jayashri's voice is extremely sweet and mellifluous in this collection. Valaji varnam "Chalamu Seya", and Rageshri thillana (both composed by Lalgudi Jayaraman) are so very captivating that even my 4-year old daughter started humming them in her bath!
Very nice job, Jayashri! |
